Born and raised in the Midwest I understand the meaning of crazy weather patterns. It is a running joke in recent years that you can experience all four seasons in one week. It's true, so you always have to be prepared to go from coat to shorts at the drop of a hat.

My education background is in Graphic Design as well as Multimedia Design & Development. It is my goal to work full time as an author and photographer. I currently have self-published three novels within the fantasy genre. My audience includes both young adults and adults. My writing is inspired by nature, mythology, and folklore.

As for my photography, I tend to be drawn to creatures in nature, landscapes, and close-up shots of flowers. I also have been expanding my horizons by dabbling with commercial and architectural shots. While not behind a camera or in front of a computer screen, I enjoy hiking, gardening, Japanese Art, antiques, and enjoying the company of my two cats.
